More Women are Involved in Golf

There aren’t just more female golfers, the industry is seeing more women in leadership roles who are driving this once male-dominated sport forward.

At EZLinks, we are proud to support women in the industry, and our VP of Marketing and Brand, Amanda Willard, has big ideas for our consumer brand, TeeOff by PGA TOUR. We sat down with her to discuss women in golf and what’s next for TeeOff.


What are you most excited about working for a golf company?
 It’s a fascinating time to work in golf, and TeeOff by PGA TOUR is growing thanks to the fantastic team focused on matching the marketing needs of courses with an evolving consumer audience.

What's next for the TeeOff by PGA TOUR brand? Expand TeeOff’s reach, bring the TeeOff experience to the course and showcase the brand’s breadth.

What types of challenges have you faced being a woman in golf / technology? I’ve always had to prove my value, demonstrate a strong work ethic and think creatively. At EZLinks, I am fortunate to experience a welcoming atmosphere and a runway to grow at a company that is pushing the industry forward.   

What advice do you have for women trying to break barriers in golf / technology? You already stand out. Leverage the moment to make an impact and show doubters something undeniably brilliant to shift perceptions. Let your work break down barriers.

How would you encourage more women to work in golf / technology? Be self-aware. Understand what motivates you, your strengths and weaknesses and where the industry is headed. The intersection of golf and technology is exciting and ever-changing. If that drives, inspires and provides long-term potential for you – this is your industry.
