Employee Spotlight: Chris Dykes

Chris Dykes began his EZLinks career in the 24/7 reservation center. Following a series of promotions, Chris moved into a new role
as a Junior Network Administrator. We sat down with Chris to hear more about his time at EZLinks.
What attracted you to EZLinks?
A friend told me about EZLinks. He was a Reservation Center Agent at the time and said there was an open position. I liked how the hours were flexible and the company gave a “drive to succeed” feel which was exactly what I was looking for.
How have you grown at EZLinks?
As a reservation agent, my goal was to provide customer service that exceeded expectation. My manager was great at recognizing my potential and helped prepare me for the next level. Armed with passion and the drive to continue to succeed, I eventually became a Reservation Center Training Manager. As I learned more about the company, particularly the technology side, I knew I wanted to transition to a technology-focused position. When an opportunity arose, I was given a chance to make the leap, and I have been extremely happy with my decision and grateful for the chance to expand my knowledge base.
What’s changed since you first started?
A lot! I’ve watched this company grow from about 100 to over 400 employees. I’ve also watched our product portfolio expand and our products / processes improve.
What do you like most about working at EZLinks?
The people. Each day I’m surrounded by some of the most creative, easy to get along with, fun people I’ve ever worked with.
